Wings Of Hope

Wings of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving the community for 16 years.

It was founded by Tina Honkus in honor of her mother, Evelyn Miller—an everyday woman who bravely battled melanoma and later passed away from pancreatic cancer. Tina was deeply inspired by her mother’s strength and legacy, and she devoted herself to helping others facing similar challenges.

Tina led Wings of Hope with passion and unwavering dedication until her own passing from pancreatic cancer on May 7, 2025. Her commitment to serving others and her community remains the heart of our mission.

Moving forward, Wings of Hope will continue its work under the leadership of Tina’s sisters, Brenda Burnosky and Tammy Miller-Moore, along with her daughter, Kristine Irwin. Together, they are committed to honoring Tina’s legacy by providing support to individuals and families affected by cancer—offering financial assistance for medical costs, travel, and personal care during treatment.

We are grateful for the continued support of our community as we carry on Tina’s vision, grounded in love, compassion, and hope.
