Ride for Wings of Hope
Make it stand out.
After a successful ride along the Great Allegheny Passage in May, I’m excited to announce my next post-retirement cycling adventure! Starting July 20, I’ll be teaming up with my IUP friend, Mike Hutton, to take on the C&O Canal Towpath—a 185-mile recreational trail stretching from Cumberland, MD to Washington, DC.
In honor of Tina Honkus, the beloved founder of Wings of Hope, and her unwavering dedication to the organization’s mission, we’re turning this journey into a fundraiser for Wings of Hope.
Supporters can choose to donate either a flat amount or make a per-mile pledge, tied to our successful completion of the ride. Donations can be made through this secure site below —created specifically for this effort.
Every dollar raised will go directly to advancing Wings of Hope’s mission: providing financial support to families navigating the challenges of cancer.
Thanks so much for your support—and here’s hoping for hot, dry weather the week of July 20!
